The Saint Alphonsus Moms Group invites moms of all ages and stages to our next meeting on Monday, November 2nd. Monsignor McCulken will be joining us to share on the topic of Spiritual Warfare and Motherhood. Hope to see you in the Narthex at 9:30am for prayer, reflection, and connection. Childcare provided!

We are truly blessed to share such a naturally beautiful, welcoming, and sacred space throughout the liturgical year. To help maintain this environment, we are seeking volunteers to assist with decorating for major liturgical celebrations, as well as with ongoing floral arrangements and seasonal needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside fellow parishioners to highlight the natural beauty and sacred character of our church. The Saint Alphonsus Helping Thy Neighbor (HTN) Ministry is running low on furniture and is collecting donations for its Fall session through November 21st to support families in need. Furniture especially needed includes love seats, sofas (maximum 72 inches long; no reclining sofas), kitchen and dining tables and chairs, living room chairs, end tables, coffee tables, dressers, bedroom bureaus, and nightstands without glass or mirrors. HTN is also looking for volunteers to help with the warehouse staging crew and to pick up rental trucks for the transportation team. The Health and Wellness Ministry is offering CPR certification classes to help you learn lifesaving skills, including CPR, AED use, and choking response. Sessions are available on Friday, November 20, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the Narthex and Saturday, November 21st from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the Parish Hall. Space is limited to 15 participants per session. A short online course must be completed before attending. To register and learn more, click the title above. Just in time for the holidays. Give yourself the gift of good health! The Health and Wellness Ministry will offer free blood pressure screenings on Sunday, November 22nd, after the 8:00AM and Noon Masses. Take a few minutes to check on your heart health with a blood pressure screening by a medical professional, even if you check your blood pressure at home or use a smartwatch or other device. A pharmacist will be available after each of the two Masses to answer questions about your medications. You can also stop by to chat with Health and Wellness Ministry members and learn about the programs and services we offer. Hope to see you there!
