We are pleased to share that, with the support of our parish geriatric care manager, Amy Juarez, we will be launching a Nourish for Caregivers ministry here at Saint Alphonsus. Nourish for Caregivers is a Christ‑centered Catholic program that supports the practical, emotional, and spiritual needs of all caregivers—those caring for aging parents, spouses, children, neighbors, or anyone in need. Their mission is to strengthen and encourage caregivers through the gift of faith. 

Caregivers Are Not Alone, and a New Ministry of St. Alphonsus Parish Offers Them Support

Our parish will be one of five Nourish groups in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia—two of which, also in Montgomery County, were started by Amy. Two additional groups are located in Chester County. Our Nourish group will meet on the third Thursday of each month from 3:00–4:15 PM in the church narthex meeting room. Each gathering will focus on a faith‑based caregiving topic.
