Shining Stars is our religious education program held during the 10:15 Mass for pre-school children ages 3 through 5. This is a wonderful time for your children to learn about Sunday's Gospel and develop a closer relationship with Jesus. Shining Stars runs from October through April. We meet over in the OLM building. You can drop off your child/ren at 10:00-10:05 am before you go to the 10:15 Mass. Pick-up will be immediately after Mass ends. Helping the Needy Ministry (HTN) is looking for volunteers (men and women) to tutor children at the Francis Willard Elementary School in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. Your help would be needed usually on a Monday during the school year. Tutors meet at St. Alphonsus at 11 am and carpool together, returning by 3 pm.
